Chemotherapy hair loss - Eyebrows and Head
Chemotherapy is hard enough but having to endure the temporary loss of hair doesn’t have to be. Eyebrows can be temporarily tattooed on with henna and for the adventurous, why not get your full head adorned with henna designs.
Henna is a natural plant dye which is traditionally used to stain the hands of Asian brides with ornate designs, but this same medium is also able to stain the face and head while battling cancer or during any periods of hair loss.
Henna, a coolant, also helps to ease the burning pain (Peripheral Neuropathy) associated with some of the chemotherapy drugs.
Nicole uses her own hand crafted henna paste, which includes henna powder, lemon juice, sugar and essential oils. It is recommended to consult your doctor prior to having a henna session.
